4 Steps I'm Using to Build My Business in Internet Marketing - 640x360

Day 9 – the 4 Steps That I’m Using to Build My Business in Internet Marketing!

It’s 4 Steps But With Some Bits in Between!

I’m not even one third of the way through my “CRUSH Your FEAR of Appearing in Video in 30 Days”  challenge and the rewards that I’m receiving already are stupefying me. So much so it took me 30 minutes on video to express this stuff.

I don’t know about you but I have a short attention span and I laugh whenever I see people make to do lists with 10 items or more.

I used to fall for that shit too and was always down on myself when I would start on one of those uncompletable laundry lists and fail to complete it before I was DONE for the day then feel like a failure that would stick with me.

Who’s Got Time to Focus on Ten Things?

So here’s the deal… since I don’t like overwhelm I want to show you how I eliminate that from my workday. While everybody else is screwing around trying to satisfy their top 10 freakin to-do-list I pick one thing off my 4 step plan and work on it.

  1. Start with an idea
  2. Build an audience
  3. Give away all you can
  4. Monetize to earn an income

I knew what I wanted to do on day 1 so for me the first step was done in seconds but if you don’t know what you want to do start brainstorming ideas and Googling them. Do all the research you can and something is going to surface for you.

I am going to find some training to help you with this and include a link at the bottom for you to download it.

This is the 9th day of my challenge and what I’m doing now is working to build my audience and I’m giving away all I can to help others do what I’m doing so it’s step 2 & 3 that’s got 100% of my attention right now and it’ll be like that for at least 21 more days.

On Day 31 I’ll Think About Making Money but NOT Before!

Like I promised in the video I’m giving you what I can to help you get started… just share this post to unlock the content and if you have any questions contact me here.

    Hey Fred,
First off, thanks for featuring me in this video I wasn’t expecting that it gave me a bit of a shock and at the same time I think I started to blush!

You made it to 30 minutes too which just flew by as I watched it the first time around on Youtube because I like to go full screen for me to take a video in. Then, believe it or not, I watched it again back on your website, so I have enjoyed a full hour of Fred this morning.

Great to hear and see that your audience is growing nicely and to be honest that doesn’t surprise me at all. You are a natural in front of the camera and I can relate to you and your teaching style and believe me when I say that any advice you give is not taken lightly.

I too have spent tens of thousands on IM products since May of 2008 and I dread to think how many hard drives I have in the loft full of stuff.

That’s how I used to know when it was time to go buy another desktop PC when it got frustratingly slow and all you could see on my monitor was folder after folder with get rich quick labels alongside software quick links with some shiny name.

I do need to trim down my email subscriptions, I did it once before and then some guru said join as many lists as you can to see how their copy pulls you in…but don’t fall for it? Yeah right, that’s been like walking into a bar and someone saying “I’ll get this Rick what are you having?” and expect me to say no thanks I’m fine…NOT going to happen;-).

What I’m going to take from this Day 9 video Fred is the fact that my blog could do with some work and I’m gonna brainstorm my ideas as to how it should look and make some changes to it today.

Then I’ll move on to step two.But only when I have step one sorted 😉

Besides that, I still have to complete a few things Richie Nolan has set up for me to do re my April S11 Accountability. At least it gets you to actually doing something rather than buying shit and surfing videos on the tube or FB.
Anyway, thanks for today’s lesson and as Arnie says,”I’ll be back” stay focused,
    Rick Ellwood

Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your article seem to be running off the screen in Internet explorer. I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know. The design look great though! Hope you get the issue resolved soon. Thanks

Thank you so much for the feedback. I’m going to look at what’s going on. I may need to delete and redo the post. I suspect it was a hosting issue that I had trying to upload the image yesterday that is the culprit. I had to get support from my hosting provider because regardless of what I did I could not get my featured image to set, it would not even upload. Other images would upload just fine but not it. It turns out their software systems didn’t like that image for security reasons… at least that’s what I was told. I will fix this today one way or another and I really appreciate you drawing to my attention.
