Fred was very attentive to our needs, and patient with us throughout the long search for just the right place. Fred also got the sellers to include the washer and dryer for us, which saved us having to purchase new ones. He did end up getting it done, though, which saved us the expense of two moves, putting our furniture in storage and arranging for temporary lodgings. Fred Ferguson was referred to me as being a good real estate agent so I chose to have him represent me in the purchase of my home. Fred Ferguson is the Real Estate Agent that sells the most apartments in my complex so I chose him to help me sell my place. It was a very bad time to sell though because the market was in the tank! Three other 1-BR places like mine had been for sale for a long time and hadn't sold.

Fred Ferguson was the real estate agent who helped us relocate from Edmonton to Calgary. My wife Dianna found Fred on the Internet. She sent him an email message asking for some information about moving to Calgary. She had done this with a few agents but they never did give us any responses back. Fred Ferguson has a reputation for getting higher selling prices and quicker sales in my complex so I chose him to list my place. The problem is Calgary had shifted from a hot seller’s market to homes not selling at all. With over 15,000 active listings and a sale to listings ratio of only 11%. We were competing with 16 other listings; 3 were Vistas just like mine, I was worried my place might not sell, even at a low price! Fred Ferguson was my Listing Agent and my Buyer Agent for the purchase of my move-up condo. Before I got started I decided it would be best for me to hire a specialist and since Fred is a Condo Specialist and also the Realtor who sells the most units in my complex, he was my obvious choice.
As the Seller my major concern was nothing was selling. Also tiny little units like mine were unpopular with buyers. I really wanted to move but I feared I’d be without a sale for a long while. Fred listed my apartment on December 10th. I tried to be optimistic and I hoped it would eventually sell by summer. On the 29th day after listing my place and only two showings, Fred called me to tell me that he had an offer. After the negotiations ended and the sale firmed up, I got $11,000 more than I should have from my sale based on the actual market value of my unit. Fred Ferguson sells more units in my complex than any other Realtor. He claims to get you More Money and a Faster Sale when you List with him, and I’ve seen that happen so I chose him to be my listing agent. However, because of the small size and restricted design of my apartment, I worried that it might be a hard one to sell. My place is a studio with no proper bedroom window or even a closet.
Fred got it Sold for an excellent price especially considering that it was in the slowest market since I bought the place in 2004, but the biggest deal for me was that Fred got it to SELL and I’m a very happy camper!Two other units like mine which were on the market at the same time as mine are still Not Sold. At the time of this writing, TWO MORE UNITS have been listed making a total of FOUR identical condos For Sale now and they’re all just sitting there with no bites on them. We were a young professional couple and first time buyers. By the time we met Fred Ferguson we were totally frustrated. We choose Fred to be our agent because of how well he treated us over the phone. Our conversation was so unlike the conversations we had with other listing agents we had called. Fred let us talk and he listened intently to what we told him. He was genuinely interested in us, what we wanted and what we had gone through. He wasn’t in a hurry to get off the phone and he offered good advice on the buying process.
The best part though was he didn’t push on us or pressure us into doing anything.The clincher for us was when we learned that Fred had software that could provide us with all the new listings, including the addresses, directly into our email as soon as it hit the market. This would give us the jump over others and we could do drive bys to eliminate properties we didn’t like from the outside. With regard to our home buying experience, the market was crazy and the first property we wanted to buy had multiple offers. Good to his word Fred did find it, and only a week later. The Ranchlands town home was very nicely recently renovated and perfect for us so we decided we wanted to buy it. There were other buyers wanting the home but, in spite of competing with nine other offers, we won. The best part, though, was because of Fred’s offer strategy, the sellers chose our offer over all the others even though it was not the highest price that was offered. It all turned out just as Fred said it would. It hadn’t been long since Fred had told us “the moment you get the right home you’ll be happy that you didn’t get this one” and he was right about that. This home was head and shoulders above the one we didn’t get. It was bigger, nicer in every way, safer to buy, plus we actually paid $1,900 less.This was our first home purchase and we learned a lot about real estate but we also learned that real estate agents are not all the same. They are not equally honest, interested, committed or talented. Fred Ferguson is an agent who is clearly always on your side. In fact, we found that Fred will not allow you to hurt yourself in a transaction buying or selling a home. We believe Fred is extraordinary among his peers and we highly recommend him to anyone but he’s especially right for the first timers.

Fred Ferguson was my Listing Agent. I’ve known Fred for a couple years and he's got a pretty good reputation in my complex for getting faster sales and higher prices for his sellers. It just made sense to get him to list my place for me when I decided to make the move. I thought at the time though that I’d have to wait a while to get a sale because the Real Estate market was really slow at the time.
To make the short story short, Fred got my apartment to sell in only 21 days for $235,000. I could not believe how fast it all went down because another Realtor had listed a unit like mine for sale and it took him 130 days to get it sold. The sellers of that unit were my neighbors and when they finally got their deal they only got $210,000 so you do the math. Fred Ferguson was our Agent for the purchase of our Coach Hill town house. Originally, we called him off a newspaper ad but the property had been sold just hours previous to our call. It quickly became clear to me, while talking with Fred over the phone, that he was definitely not a typical real estate agent, and because of that I decided to deal with him.

He specializes in selling condos in my complex and he is known to get his sellers more money than other agents, plus Fred usually gets the properties sold quicker as well. We were trying to sell on WeList.com when we first spoke with Fred Ferguson. He was highly recommended to us by a neighbor in our building who used him to sell her apartment. While on WeList.com we had been given a couple of verbal offers to buy our place but not one of them actually materialized. We decided after a while that WeList.com was just a waste of our time.
I got Fred to come over and list our apartment on MLS. Our results… Fred got it sold in only 4 days for the highest price per square foot and the second highest selling price in the complex to date. Fred Ferguson was referred to us at a time when we were very angry with Realtors in general. We had bought an out of town property conditional to our place selling and we used that same Realtor to list our place for sale. After 2 months it didn’t sell so we lost the home that we wanted. After our listing expired two different agents approached us to list with them. Each wanted us to lower our asking price, which wouldn’t give us enough to afford the move.
As far as Realtors go Fred was different from the start. He’s a regular guy that had just moved into Elliston and he walked his dog like we walked ours. Fred was straight with us so we decided to take a chance and list our place with him. His selling strategy was really different. He actually listed us at a higher price than the previous listing realtor did. To the point of this letter… our apartment sold in 8 days for $4,000 more than those other agents told us we could list it for. I live on the ground floor in a plus sixty apartment. One day I received a Flyer in my mailbox from Fred Ferguson regarding some of his apartment listings. I had been planning to move back to BC at the time. Since Mr. Ferguson appeared to be a condo specialist, and I needed to sell my condo to accommodate my move, I decided to call him up. Fred came over to see me straight away and after we visited for a while I felt comfortable enough to choose him to be my Listing Agent. I am providing this letter as an account of my experience with Mr. Ferguson. Fred Ferguson was my buyer agent. I never bought real estate before, but I have talked to quite a few real estate agents. This Agent was different though, right from the start. Fred Ferguson was the listing agent of an apartment I tried to purchase in Elliston Park but I lost out to another buyer. I had been using another realtor, but I sensed I was losing opportunities to buy because of her. I decided to call Fred directly because he was obviously the specialist in that complex. My initial intention was just to see if anything else was coming available for sale in the near future.

Fred Ferguson was my listing agent. In a telephone conversation with Fred about another property that he had listed I discovered that he was a condominium specialist. We talked for a while and I decided to choose him to represent me to sell my McKenzie Towne town house. Fred is very personable and he really cares about the work he does.
With Fred as my listing agent, things went very well and quickly. My home sold not once but twice in 15 days because the first buyers couldn’t get financing. The point, though, is that it did sell The price I got was $28,000 more than a unit like it sold for 8 days earlier and $14,000 more than another one sold just before that. OUTSTANDING!
